|

Hi, I recently updated my system and got xorg-server-1.3.0.0 installed, before that I installed compiz-fusion and everything was going ok, but right after installing the new xorg-server it's like my windows won't refresh at all. I don't see anything on my windows, and when I select metacity as my window manager I can see all windows normally. Anyone had the same problem?? How can it be solved??.
Thanks. |

I have the same problem too. I don't know why.
With Compiz, I didn't see that.
With Beryl, I occasionally encountered that.
With Compiz Fusion, that happens whenever I select "loose binding".
I'd always used xorg-server 1.2 (i dont remember exactly the number)
When i upgraded to xorg-server 1.3.0.0, Compiz fusion *always* freeze windows like that. I wonder if anyone else has the same problem.
My card is Intel 950GMA, using "i810" driver. |

Same here, also in the same video card and driver I'm using. Here's the output of my terminal running fusion-icon and switching from compiz to metacity.
Code: |
snake@vaio ~ $ fusion-icon
* Detected Session: gnome
* Searching for installed applications...
* Intel detected, exporting: INTEL_BATCH=1
* No GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap with direct rendering context
... present with indirect rendering, exporting: LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1
* Using the GTK Interface
* Metacity is already running
* Setting window manager to Compiz
... executing: compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp --indirect-rendering
* Setting window manager to Metacity

Anyone had this problem apart from us??? |
