Hi!

I'm just installing Gentoo on a Notebook with a ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 but I don't know the memory size of the graphics card. The documentation of this notebook doesn't give any information about this.

Is it somehow possible to find this out?

cyberpatrol,

It will be autodetected. The only time you need to take any action is if the pixel buffer shares main memory and the default Video RAM allocation is inadequate.

The amount of video ram auto detected is written to the /var/log/Xorg.0.log every time Xorg is started.
