Hi,
I am wondering if anyone else has had the same problems as me compiling xen-sources-2.6.20-r3?
In particular, compiling it with genkernel as is in http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Xen_and_Gentoo#Using_genkernel . I have tried various version of genkernel without success.

my "working" solution is to do the kernel by hand and only do the initrd with genkernel
this works fine for me.
altough it has pretty long to boot because of this:

Is there already a bugreport for this issue? I didn't find it in bugzilla and would like to report it because I think not using genkernel is just a workaround, no solution... |

The Problem is solved the same way as this one:

Well well end of tale.
What you need during menuconfig is to Load your config (if you have any) and then Save it to ".config"
After this .config is not overwritten with default values of .config file!
|
So after configuring menuconfig select "Save an Alternate Configuration File" and save your configuration as ".config". After this it compiles well. |
