Is there any way of telling Nautilus (Gnome desktop) that an application on the
desktop can accept a drop? The trashbin does it, obviously, but that's wired
deep into Nautilus. I need some way of configuring or programming an app,
and I can't find any reference to a Nautilus API of any sort.
Thanks - Will |

Drag-and-drop is a gtk+ API, not Nautilus.
You can find a lot of development documentation at http://library.gnome.org. The API docs are not up-to-date with the latest changes but the API stability of Gnome means the listed APIs should still be available. |
