Japanese Input...

Hi gents!

I'm running gentoo with a french keyboard, and as I learn Japanese at the moment, Iwould love if I could write some japanese characters. But I really don't know how this can be done... Sure I should emerge Canna or something else, but how to use this?

This question has been asked many times, and the canonical answer is: Check fellow forum user Scottro's page on Japanese input in Gentoo, and check some of the other threads here in the forums. There's been plenty of discussion about this, the last one was yesterday.
