I'm not sure when it started, but nano decided to crap out on me. Key inputs dump what look like IO calls to the screen, obscuring the displayed file, but ctrl+x still quits the application, so I'm assuming all commands are getting through. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think the enemy is probably you. :wink: Can you look at the output of
Code:
equery uses nano
to see if the debug USE flag was set the last time nano was built? If so, correct that (i.e., turn it off) and then

emerge -1 nano
