I'm not sure when it started, but nano decided to crap out on me. Key inputs dump what look like IO calls to the screen, obscuring the displayed file, but ctrl+x still quits the application, so I'm assuming all commands are getting through. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think the enemy is probably you. Can you look at the output of to see if the debug USE flag was set the last time nano was built? If so, correct that (i.e., turn it off) and then
