I didn't get any info how it is possible to configure services like obexpush, serial in bluez-utils package >3.1x.
For older versions there was an extra sdpd daemon but now it is implemented in hcid.
But how it is meant to be configured in gentoo way?
Outgoing connections are fine but on incoming my mobile doesnt detect one service running.
e.g. kde sharing i can download files from my mobile but otherwise my mobile doesn't detect kde.
No manuals, no info in the ebuild, nothing so far. The website bluez.org totally outdated
Someone a hint?
EDIT: I know that applications using bluetooth connection can register themselve as service. I also see that there are some services files in /etc/bluetooth/*.service but none obex(push)(filetransfer)... _________________ Optimism is solely an absence of information. / Optimismus ist nur ein Mangel an Information.

I had a service called "serial" set up to start in the boot runlevel. However, it always failed. I can't run the bluetooth service at boot, because then my keyboard and mouse won't work (I've a fancy-pants Logitech DiNovo suite with bluetooth support, which I haven't been able to get to work automagically in bluetooth mode yet).
Since the service failed anyways I've now removed it. Is it bluetooth-related at all? _________________ 0mFg, G3nt00 r0X0r$ T3h B1g!1111
Use sane CFLAGS! If for no other reason, do it for the lulz! |
