Broken genericmailsql.sql file in virtual mail server guide?

Hi,

I am just trying to follow the virtual server guide, but I can't get the sql file to install. It come back with this
Database mailsql running on localhost
Error

SQL-query :

Now I am trying to install the sql file with phpmyadmin bacause when I typed the following:
mysql -u root -p --opt mailsql < genericmailsql.sql
I get mysql: ERROR: unknown option '--opt'

Can anyone help me get this thing up. I have to do this soon so I can switch my mail server from a windows box and convert my windows box to gentoo. Kind of my own depend depend loop.
