|
|
well this might get complicated so sorry in advance if it makes no sense... at the moment i have a dual screen setup (monitor and tv across the room) for some reason i cant drag anything to the tv and when i move my mouse over to it, it wont let the mouse come back, this is both with and without beryl running. the configuration im looking for is so that i can have a movie playing on the tv and still have the monitor useable. but id like to see whats on the tv from the monitor, yano like setup the monitor as 1 workspace and have the tv the other or something to that effect. reason being i dont want to play 'the mouse game' of someone sitting on the other side of the room where i cant see the tv yelling "little bit to the left, nono the other left, ok click" and someone on the mouse being aggrivated. also id like this to work with beryl so that i could rotate between the tv and the monitor... any ideas? hope that wasnt too confusing
heres my xorg, whys the tv steal my mouse?!

How is your TV connected?
Anyway, here's my Dual-Monitor Setup with TwinView works like a charm with compiz-fusion (http://omploader.org/vNG90)
Maybe it helps:

I'm pretty sure it's an X.org 7.3 issue, as the same thing happens to me in fluxbox. I move the mouse to the second monitor and can't drag it back. Plus the new X.org has destroyed menu transparency in flux Yeah, I have nothing good to say about 7.3 and it's a pain in the butt to downgrade back to a working version. |
