Hi, i got a bit of a problem. I have set up my linux box as router and it works perfect. But then i want to set my bought router(that also is a wireless router) too the network so people can get on with the wireless. the problem is that when i connect the cable from my box to the router it dose not work. the router is a ASUS 240 MIMO router. i have a guess waht the problem is.
i can set the WAN settings in the asus router i set it to 192.168.1.1 that is my lan static ip on the linux box, it says that it need a wan ip, can that be the problem? Hope somebody can help _________________ Do we watch anime to live or do we live to watch anime?

easiest thing to do is to disable any DHCP on the wireless router then just connect one of the LAN ports on the wireless to the LAN port on your linux router. |
