x server and eth0

Hi,

I have some problems with my network connection when starting X server.

After boot I run in console. Checking ping www.gentoo.org everything works fine.
Then I start X and run ping in X, then there is no ping. If I restart /etc/inet.d/net.eth0 I get back the ping

Can anyone suggest me how to check what is going on or what should I reed. I was not able to find anything utile on the net.
