My OS X on the lan is "sharing" the printer attached to it via USB. How do I connect to this printer? All the guides I've seen are about using cups and samba to connect to either a cups server or a windows print server.

Thanks in advance.

I believe OSX uses cups, so printer sharing should be fairly straight forward, but a quick google turned up this guide;

Ok. I started cups and was playing around trying to get my printer installed. Was about to try the cups "webpage" but all of a sudden the kde add printer dialgue keep crashing. I checked localhost:631 and it's gone! (404 error)

I tried rebooting cups and my whole system but still won't come up. I tried restarting cups again. No dice. :(
The only thing I emerged during that time was gimp-print. What is going on?
I tried getting rid of gimp-print and restarting cups. No dice.

:roll:

EDIT
Found some more info. Turns out cups is listening on localhost::1:631 which is breakings.

Code:

Not that I DO have a net.eth0 that is not plugged in. I tried stopping it and restarting cups...

Here is my config file
