Conceptronic 10/100TCL or rtl8139 gentoo problems

Hello!
by the time I am writing this I have in this day 8 hours trying to find a way to Gentoo 1.4rc4 to detect my pcmcia Conceptronic 10/100 TCL for my laptop.

I know that rtl8139.o is the one but when I do insmod it gives me lot of errors and modprobe only gets its stuff in /lib/modules/*/kernel/drivers/net and in the cd image I can't copy anything to that because its read-only.

I tried :
modprobe pcmcia_core
modprobe i82365
modprobe ds
cardmgr -m rtl8139.o

and the only thing that happens its that ifconfig -a tells that tap0 is on but I still can't dhcpd tap0 or net-setup tap0

I need a way to somehow make the system in the cd image boot create a eth0 and do dhcpd eth0 and net-setup eth0 so I can install Gentoo because I love gentoo and all that emerge stuff and I need this to work.

So please someone helpme !!!
