Hi!
I want to change the fonts that gnome uses. So, i creat a new font directory "/home/usr/fonts" , i do a mkfontdir in this directory.... I reboot my system but there isn't any new font in the gnome control panel.
In openoffice, all the new fonts from "/home/usr/fonts/" are good installed ...
Why?

What version of Gnome are you using? Have you run Gnome's font configuration?
