Does anyone know if it is possible to set xterm to use a TTF font through the .Xdefaults file? I have tried adding a line "XTerm*fa: Courier", but this does not change the font at all. I can't seem to find any reference that the option should be different than the command line.

My .Xdefaults:
Code:
XTerm*faceName:     Luxi Mono:style=Regular
XTerm*faceSize:     10


The information you wanted is in the man page.
