|
|
Hello
Normally when I mount my USB flash drive:
mount -t vfat /dev/sde /mnt/sde
Then copy a large amount of data to it, it copies at a fairly low rate of around 10 MB/s, then when I umount it, it finishes all the copying at a much higher rate of 20 - 25 MB/s.
Is there a way to mount it with no caching initally so that a) all data is copied to the drive straight away and b) umount will be much quicker?
Thanks
