How can I get a cursor in the text interface, like on the livecd? I've lived without one for a while, but it's a really nice convenience. _________________ BSD > SysV > Linux

You need sys-libs/gpm, thers's a good chance you already have it installed.
Edit "/etc/conf.d/gpm" as you require and then start the daemon (/etc/init.d/gpm start), and add it to the default runlevel if you're happy with it. _________________ "You have to invite me in" |

Thanks, I have another question though. My console is always off-center for some reason. I have to adjust the horizontal placing on my monitor to 53 to center it. Why is that? The livecd one works fine. _________________ BSD > SysV > Linux
