Apache?

What is the best?
Apache 1.3 or Apache 2???
I run now Apache 1.3 but portage wants me to update to apache 2...
what do you think?

the best is still 1.3 as there is not much support for 2.x yet. also 2.x still has a lot of bugs and recently some huge security holes have been found in 2.x. therefore my advice:

stay with 1.3 - especially if your machine is a production machine connected to the internet. add in /etc/make.conf to the USE variable "-apache2". that way portage should not try to update your apache to 2.x.
