Seit einiger Zeit habe ich das folgende Problem mit Skype: Und zwar werden keine Icons mehr dargestellt. Weder auf der Oberflaeche (in Menues, der Contactlist usw.) noch in der Taskbar oder dem Systray werden Icons angezeigt. Das macht das Bedienen schier unmoeglich. Ich habe hierzu leider noch keine Loesungen finden koennen. Scheinbar ist dies kein allzu bekannter Fehler.
Leider habe ich das Programm relativ lange nicht mehr benutzt, weswegen ich nicht genau sagen kann, wann es zum erstem Mal aufgetreten ist. Ich glaube aber, dass das ganze einem Qt-Update zu verdanken ist.
Ich habe probiert, das Problem mit revdep-rebuild zu beheben und in meiner Verzweiflung Skype mit der "emptytree"-Option zu remergen. Beides leider ohne Erfolg.
Ich sollte vielleicht noch sagen, dass mein System komplett unstable ist, womit ich aber eigentlich keine Probleme habe. Ausserdem habe ich auch aeltere (stabile) Versionen ausprobiert. Die aktuell installierte Version ist 1.4.0.118.

Hi ramrott,
ich hatte auch mal ein seltsames Problem mit Skype. Es ist ordnungsgemäß gestartet, ließ sich aber nicht bedienen. Es ist einfach abgestürzt.
Ich habe dann beim installieren von Skype mal die Anweisung zu den Kernelparametern gelesen und befolgt. Seit dem läuft es ohne Probleme.
Es sind die letzten 10 oder 15 Zeilen.

Hallo uwebaer,
vielen Dank, aber leider habe ich das schon probiert. Die Meldugen betreffen den Linux Scheduler, wenn ich es richtig in Erinnerung habe. Leider hilft es aber nicht.
