Hello,
i have sticky problem with my Mailserver and maybe somebody has a solution for me. (Already read hundreds of topics but no goal) Mails can go out and come in lokal/remote (incoming from outside is scanned, but then it`s not delivered to the vpopmail/"user-mailbox")

I had a Installation Mailserver like in https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-527246.html (HOWTO: qmail vpopmail courier-imap qmail-scanner (12/2006)) but then come the day i thought i have to update to https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-527246.html ( qmail vpopmail courier-imap qmail-scanner (02/2007))

First it looked OK with minor problems but now =>

Normally this should be a problem of rights in the directory --> /var/vpopmail/domains/dom.local (and subdirectories)
or other qmail-files.
-->No worldwrite in this directories / in my case 700 vpopmail:vpopmail
I had a look with locate/slocate to find any kind of files like .qmail

Tried already to fix the queue / Made a new domain copied all the Mails within
for examle .qmail-default 600 vpopmail:vpopmail

Is there another directory which could be the problem?; or is it possible to get the Info directly from qmail-send? (more than ...is_writable)

I fixed the queue already with queue-fix (qmail down) queue-repair
i tried to make a new domain;copied all the mails inside; vdeldomain and vadddomain but still the same problem.

I tried to downgrade the qmail-scanner-2.01 to 1.25; but then a got the Info from the clamav and it`s not possible
(In 2006 clamav 0.88 with qmail-scanner 1.25)
and now clamav 0.92 with qmail-scanner 2.01 but it`s not working

Sometimes pigs might fly.
Read the error or the docs and you can get satisfaction!
Once i installed a testuser and I gave him the rights 777 (i don`t know why)
The error said the directory is writable---and it was right
I changed the rights of this directory and all went ok.
