Hi:

I am thinking about upgrading my current CPU to a 3.06Ghz to give me Hyper Threading ... There is also a 3Ghz CPU that is 800Mhz FSB ... Which do you think would be the better choice? I believe you cannot get a 3.06 with 800FSB yet. My mobo supports the larger FSB.

I'd stick with the better FSB. The speed gap between memory and processor clocks is a big issue on current, deep-pipelined processors.

Hyperthreading is a quite limited simultaneous multhi-threading scheme, and it has been reported to even decrease performance in some cases.

then why did you buy that 3.06?
higher FSB is more perfomance
and 66 mhz in absolute clockspeed isn't noticeable
but 66 mhz in FSB is a world of difference
