I'm sorry if this question has been posted several times but i ran thru the 4 first pages and didnt find anything like that...
i'm pretty new with web servers, after installing gentoo on my box, i tried to ssh it but i get a connection refused! why is this?
second, i'd appreciate if you guys could tell me a little on what program i need and some tips on things on security...
if someone could give me some web sites that are worth reading when dealing with web servers...

run these commands

rc-update add sshd default
/etc/init.d/sshd start
|
now the ssh sould work...
