k...i've found a few things on the forums on how to get this to work but i am a linux newb and i dont completly understand how to get this thing working....
if i understand correctly i have to compile something into my kernel to get it to work????
could someone give me a step by step process??? |

You should be able to just plug it into your computer and it should work (might need a reboot). You'll need more steps (editing you XF86config file) to get more than 3 buttons working, but it should work "out of the box" as long as your old mouse is configured and the same protocall. Can anyone check me on this? I think I'm right but I've never used a USB mouse under linux so I don't know if there are any steps there (don't think so). _________________ -- Michael
