|

I installed gentoo today and made a mistake on /etc/fstab. So the system boots to read-only mode(mount the fs in read only mode) and I was not able to make the correction. I use reiser fs for / . Since my kernel image is a little bit larger that 1.44MB so I cannot make a booting floppy. Can anyone help me to make correction? Thank for your help in advance.

You can boot from the gentoo cd, mount you root partition and edit the fstab there.
Code: | mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/gentoo
nano /mnt/gentoo/etc/fstab |
