theirs nothing in this directory other then a 'ipsec' folder.
followed the documentation exatly. where could I of gone wrong> |

Please tell us how you booted your system. Did you use the LiveCD?
We need to know some details to better understand your situation and help you out.

finished the entire installation (using stage3 atm)... booted up (without the liveCD in) grub came up, bootuped up perfectly.. but noticed it couldn't load my 8139too module so i did a ls in the /lib/modules/......./net and no modules exist.
UPDATE:
#lsmod
returns nothing but the header like "Module Size Used.... etc."
im very confused (tracing my steps) |

Not to be redundant, but have you compiled in your nic driver into the kernel or as a module?
And could you post your .config file, especially the network section? |
