Anyone out there knows of a way to prevent Google Desktop from collapsing into the System Tray?
As I use Windowmaker, this behaviour doesn't give me the chance to right-click the Google-Desktop-System-Tray's icon.
(For instance, in KMIX I can tinker with the preferences and disable the feature.)

This isn't the answer you were looking for, but you could use the wmsystray package to get a system tray dock app for windowmaker.
As for changing Google Desktop's settings, I defer to actual users of the software. |
