rss-glx locking machine when trying to unlock

I am using rss-glx screensavers on KDE 3.5.7. The problem is that in 1 from 10 unlocks the desktop hangs. I can, however, SSH into the box and all processes are running. The keyboard input is taken over so I cannot switch to console... Also process "helios" is taking up to 98% of time (it is one of the screensavers). Here is the list of related stuff:

When I do killall -9 helios, the X restarts so I suppose it is a bug in the rss-glx package.

I am quite sure that my problem is not very common but if someone has a hint then please help. I know I could just disable rss-glx and xscreensaver's default ones but rss-glx looks so much better!
