For some bizzare reason, my university has decided to block outgoing smtp to any server.
I don't know how to get around it, and all my email is not web based...so I really have no way of replying. I don't know much about how email works, but the way I had it setup was this...
I have two pop accounts. Outgoing email from each account was done by connecting to that server and sending via smtp. This no longer works as it is blocked by the nat/firewall.
Any help is appreciated...

your university has very probably its own smtp server. ask other students or your administrator which one to use. |

A quick search and viola, they do have an smtp server I can use...
That was easy...
Thanks for the tip. |
