problems emerging gnome

HELP
I can't emerge gnome.
I get the same error everytime.!!! Error: media-libs/gst-plugins-0.6.1 failed
!!! Funtion src_compile,line 152, Exitcode 3
!!! (no error message)
I did everything the forums told me to do, but to no avail?
Please Help, I've done pretty good up until here??
I have got XFree86 installed and the nvidia drivers 1.0.4349, when I startx the nvidia logo comes up then the X, co I got this far. Just need a DISPLAYMANAGER, and some sort of window, example Gnome or KDE or Fluxbox.
