Ok, I've got the wierdest problem. When I was running gentoo 2.4.19-r9, my power management was working fine. then one day, shutdown -h now rebooted my computer rather than shutting it down and halting it, and I don't know why. I tried upgrading my kernel to solve the problem, didn't work.
I have the following enabled in my kernel, all builtin:
-Power Management
-Advanced Power Management
-Enable PM at Boot time
-Make CPU Calls when idle
-RTC stores real time in GMT
-Allow interrupts during APM bios calls
-Use real mode APM Bios calls to power off
This is a really annoying problem I'm not sure of how to fix. Any help would be appreciated. _________________ -Rajl
