|
|
Hi,
Reading about all the problems (and running into some myself) I decided to unmerge all webserver-related and start from scratch....
I emerged apache2 since the apache team now officially says its the better one...php emerges fine...so do mod_php.
But...mod_ssl wants to "downgrade" my apache2 to apache1 ("U").
If Im not mistaken...an "U" (without "D") means that apache2 will not get unmerged...is this true? But does ssl then work with apache2? And what about all my other extentions (mod_php, etc) will they work even if I have 2 versions of apache installed?
Thanks... _________________ regards,

Seems like ssl is part of apache2. _________________ regards,
