Virtualbox without sound

Hi everyone!

I installed VBOX-1.5.2-bin on gentoo64 with XPSP2.

Everything is working perfect (example my webcam) in Win but I CAN NOT install the sound driver

I mounted VguesAdd-1.5.2.iso, and ran many times to install ALL driver, I tried to find manually but it was impossible to do.

I tried with NULL, ALSA and OSS and nothing.

Can anybody suggest something?

Did you enable sound in the virtualbox's menu options?

Yeap

Inclusive, few min ago I did

emerge -C Virtualbox-bin
emerge Virtualbox virtualbox-additions

Re-start the machine and nothing
I still didn't find the driver for the sound card

Did you select ALSA as the output device? I assume your sound is working normally ok.

Yes

I proved absolute everything: NULL, OSS and ALSA

And the HUGE problem is that WINDOWS CAN NOT FIND THE DRIVER FOR MULTIMEDIA CARD

So, I don't have sound, because I don't have the driver

I tried everything with VBOXADDITIONS.iso, Windows UPDATe, and inclusive I tried to install manually (AC'97 CARD)m but it didn't work

I don't know what else I can do.
