Hi

I installed Compiz-fusion (from portage) and it works pretty well; hovever, it has a few relatively major annoyances.

First of all, the menus, tooltips, etc. randomly use either the effect they're supposed to use or the effect for the main windows. So, for example, if I keep opening and closing a menu, it will either appear with the Domino effect (like it's supposed to), or the Zoom effect (like a window)

Does anyone know how to fix that?

Thanks in advance! :)

make them both the same effect :)

Seriously though, I noticed the same problem when I upgraded to 0.6.0. It didn't do it with the earlier 9999 release from xeffects.

yeah, it's not a kde thing, it is a compiz-fusion thing. It happens to me to and is not that annoying but I do wish it would be fixed.

Aww, that's too bad...

What effects do you use? The ones that look good on windows generally don't look good with tooltips/dropdowns/menus...
