it's the "&" in the urls

try to set a "\" BEFORE every &

Example:

Code:
http://www.domain.com/index.php?action=download&file=somefile.tar.gz

http://www.domain.com/index.php?action=download\&file=somefile.tar.gz

Learn to wget properly:
Code:
$ wget 'url'

No need for trying to wrap your head around where in that looooooong url you need to put backslashes. And it takes less time.

can not download with wget.The link is:
http://www.vmware.com/download/downloadBinary.do?action=downloadBinary&file=VMware-workstation-6.0.2-59824.i386.tar.gz&pot=1&baseURL=http://download2.vmware.com/software/wkst/&code=WKST-602-LX-TAR-GZ&hashKey=5562a1cb7cf3f95453cf2f794520fcb5&tranId=10063410

I try wget 'url' but failed.
I try wget with the \ before all & and ? ,but failed.
It always said:
00:11:31 ERROR 404: Not Found.
