Hello! I have a laptop and I'm using a pcmcia network card. It is a 3com, and it has the Atheros chipset. I got madwifi working without too much trouble, but I'm having one little difficulty......and it's more of an annoyance than anything. When I boot up, it won't detect my card. In order to be able to configure my card, I have to pull it out and push it back in so that the system will recognize that a card is in the slot. Is there any way to make this not happen? It just annoys me having to pull it out and put it back in every time I start up. My laptop uses the Yenta cardbus drivers.
Thanks!

I'm not sure which other modules I'd need to load. The card isn't even recognized until I re-insert it though....I'm not sure. I think I have all of the modules loaded that I need. |

Just do a lsmod before and after you insert your card, and see if you have some additional modules in the second one. _________________ Easiest way never leads anywhere... |
