I installed bluetooth on my system and at first it worked ok, but then I saw that bluez 3 was out and wanted to use that (gentoo hasn't stabilized it yet, but looking at their site makes me think they should be stable enough to use) Anyway, before emerging bluez 3, kdebluetooth had emerged fine. Afterwards, however, the bluez 3 ebuild says I need to re-emerge kdebluetooth (well, revdep-rebuild helped ;-)) Anyway, after the upgrade, kdebluetooth fails with:

Code:

As it is rather late (ok, very late) right now I'm going to downgrade tomorrow (hopefully that'll put things back to normal) but in the meantime (and to get the ball rolling in case that isn't the issue) whats up with bluez 3 and kdebluetooth? Are they currently incompatible? Is something missing? (It looks like bad code on kdebluetooth's part from a simple look over the error) or could it be the fact that it's technically all unstable software running on a 64-bit machine? Anyone else with this problem?

Upgrading to beta 8 fixed the error.
