|
I decided to make the switch to Evolution. I installed Evolution 1.4 today. Everything woks fine except Evolution will not read new email from /var/spool/mail/username when the receiving server type is "Local".
I changed the type to "standard Unix mbox spool...". Aftert that Evolution would read the mail spool.
I checked permissions and tried as root; no change.
I checked configure output to see if any missing deps showed up; nothing.
I made sure movemail is installed -- remembering earlier versions used it -- no change.
Any thoughts?
BTW, my solution right now is:
- Set the receiving server type is "maildir".
- Deliever my email to ~/.maildir.
- Use a rule to move mail from the "maildir" inbox to the Local inbox.
Clunky, but works. _________________ Tony |
