Hi,
Is it possible to use konquerer and a 56K modem for the internet?
If so, how? I've really no idea how to install a 56K modem on a laptop either via serial or PCMCIA port. Does anyone have any info on this?
Note: I'm not installing gentoo, I've done that over wireless, but need a 56K connection for when I'm oversees.
Thanks |

there is enough information for installing a modem already in this forum:
->buy a modem (i used one at serial port)
->connect it
->emerge pppconfig (if you have no internetconnection you'll have to download the tar somewhere
->use pppconfig to make all work (which shouldn't be a problem)
don't know, why it shouldn't work with konquerer |
