|

I've found a How-To for the installation of KDE, but I've not found a How-To-Install-Gnome2, why? And can anybody help me out there? Thanx a lot! _________________ The system we live in is like the devil:

Interesting, but I have emerged gnome without that -vp! And my gdm won't work, so that's why I'm asking! Right now I run it with xdm and everytime I shut down my computer the screen gets black and the diagnostic tool of the screen tells it receives no signal and the computer freezes! It happens when I log out, too! _________________ The system we live in is like the devil:

-vp wont install it.
-vp means verbose pretend.
it tells you what it will install and what use flags are on and off for that certain one. (the list is all the use flags that affect that certain item) _________________ Got Gentoo? |

Thanks, but what's about all my other problems? Should I just go on using a not 100% functionally computer because nobody knows how to help me? _________________ The system we live in is like the devil:

You should probably have a better subject than this then, and perhaps post in the hardware forum... that way someone will be more likely to help you. |
