|
|
After Redhatter gave those precious info for cross-compiling Qube kernels using my AMD64 machine I got obsessed to compile a new kernel for the Qube.
Had some unsuccessful attempts at start but then I was getting closer until the kernel booted and was only complaining that VFS could not find my / partition (hda2).
So went back again to my PC , changed some options in IDE drivers menu and compiled once more , kernel completed and copied to Qube.
Here is the message i got from the Qube:
Quote: |
load kernel-2.6.22.6.gz
00212728 2172712t
> execute root=/dev/hda2 ro console=/dev/ttyS0,115200
elf32: 00080000 - 004dabef (8045f000) (ffffffff.80000000)
elf32: 80080000 (80080000) 4182028t + 383972t

After this happened once, i could not manage to build a kernel that would pass this point. _________________ If windows fails, who you gonna call? Re-install...... |
