Hallo erstmal,
also ich hab auf einem Windows-Rechner ein Gentoo in VMware installiert, hat auch alles so weit super geklappt. Jedoch habe ich nun ein Problem: Die Konsole in Gentoo (hab noch kein X installiert) ist im Vergleich zum zur Verfügung stehenden Platz sehr klein, hat etwa die Auflösung 640x480 (schätzungsweise). Wenn ich Gentoo jedoch von der Live-CD boote, füllt sie den gesamten Bildschirm aus. Fehlt mir vieleicht ein Kernel-Bootparameter?

das mit den ca 640x480 ist die standard konsolen auflösung (80xirgentwas zeichen)
Die livecd verwendet, wenn nicht anders in der bootzeile angegeben, nen framebuffer um die auflösung zu ändern.
