Hi,
bin neu hier also erstmal ein "Hallo" an alle.
Ich bin noch Gentoo und Linux Newbie und hoffe hier mal öfters eure Hilfe in Anspruch nehmen zu dürfen.
Also als erste Frage woher bekomme ich die neuste mldonkey Version auf meinem Mac OS X hab ich mldonkey 2.5.rc3 laufen (rc3 behebt einen schwerwiegenden Bug).
Ich würde mir auch selber ein ebuild schreiben, wenn ich mal irgendwo eine einfache engliche oder deutsche Anleitung finden würde, wie man eines schreibt und dann ins System einfügt.

Du brauchst Dir keine eigenen ebuilds schreiben.
Gibt doch unter anderem folgendes aus:

D.h. Du kannst ganz einfach per
mldonkey installieren.
Vielleicht hast Du auch keinen aktuellen Portage-Tree, in dem Fall aktualisiere ihn zuerst mit
