Hallo,

versuche meine Laptop mit Gentoo 1.4rc4 aufzusetzen. Probleme bereit der Intel ee100pro bzw. eepro100 Netzwerktreiber.
Während des "emerge sync" spuckt die Karte einen:

kernel: eepro100: wait_for_cmd_done timeout!

aus. Danach ist nichts mehr zu löten.

Frage: Kann ich während der Installation von Gentoo den Treiber patchen, oder ähnliches?

du könntest den alternativen treiber benutzen. soweit ich weiss gibt es einen neueren e100.o von intel. sogar im kernel drinn ;)
