I start it, and load my game. Then i want to go through the pyramide, and the game exits with the following error message:

Might and Magic ran out of high memory!

So what shall i do now ?

I tried some memory cnangings... but it seems Upper memory is at 116k.... which looks low.... how can i push this up ?

i honestly have no idea, but you may want to try dosbox (app-emulation/dosbox in portage), because iirc dosbox is specifically designed to emulate DOS games (at least most of my DOS games, such as Prince of Persia run perfectly on it). Maybe that'll fix the problem? I know there should be solution specifically to your problem with dosemu, but im sorry, i can't help you with that. at least i hope the suggestion to go for dosbox will help a little... good luck!!!

What version of DOS are you running in DOSemu? (DOSemu's the one where you install an old version of DOS under it, right?) If thats the emulator I'm thinking of, you might get better results with an old copy of DOS 6.2 than with FreeDOS.
