lirc + wheel mouse problems.

I use a remote control and an ir receiver as my mouse using software from www.lirc.org. The mouse works great for me, but the wheel moves much too fast. It's quite unusable.

I only use the wheel with konqueror and xmms. X is using the intellimouse protocal for the mouse.

Anyone know how to adjust this how many lines it scrolls or something on the lircmd end I can adjust?
