Hello,

I know that openSUSE has a local start up script located in /etc/inti.d/boot.local ... and ... I believe Fedora has a startup script located in named rc.local ...

Any Idea's where or if Gentoo has an equivalent file??

I suppose you mean /etc/conf.d/local.start
