Gentoo is amazing !

Waoo... Thanks to all of developpers for the great job. I'm using linux since years and tried many distros while finally keeping up with deb woody: the long wait for KDE3 made me try gentoo.
And it's incredible: for any advanced user, it's the best install ever. It installed flawlessly (smp 2*450Mhz/scsi disks), with modern techs (namely xfs and at last optimized compilation, the 386DX's dead!). And ain't got a single problem. Within a few hours of compilation, I now have 2G worth of apps all working and almost without unnecessary action (especially the overnight "emerge kde").
There's still some apps missing, I'll learn how to make ebuilds as soon as possible

(unison <- you don't know what you're missing / hevea which outperforms latex2html from far / mldonkey... and some (x)emacs packages : whizzytex, etc.)
