Not sure where to put this, so I'm putting it here.
If I start irexec manually with
/usr/bin/irexec --daemon /home/joe/.lircrc
it works fine and I can start mythtv with the power button on my Hauppage remote.
If I start it via the /etc/init.d/irexec script it starts and runs but does not respond when I press the power button. When I do a irw the events are identical. When I use ps x the process is identical. Just not sure why it doesn't work and its bothering me. It is not a big deal, since I have a script to start irexec with gnome, but I would prefer to use the startup script for no good reason |
