Scusate ma ho avuto un problema ma il mio thread s'è perso tra le valanghe di altri threads... magari qualcuno sa dirmi che fare in questi casi..

chiaramente ho provato a cancellare più volte /usr/portage/distfiles/gnome-swallow-1.1.tar.gz e farlo scaricare da server diversi, ma anche da gentoo.oregonstate.edu stesso risultato..
come faccio a fargli aggiornare il digest? magari basterebbe quello |

si oggi ha funzionato... ma mi sfugge probabilmente una cosa... sync e rsync sono la stessa cosa  o rsync è un metodo spiccio per sync |

In teoria emerge sync è da preferire ad emerge rsync. La cosa è stata decisa proprio per la presenza del pacchetto rsync per evitare confusione.
Per ora emerge sync ed emerge rsync fanno esattamente la stessa cosa, non so se e quando in futuro emerge rsync invece emergerà net-misc/rsync... (so solo che non oso immaginare i cori di protesta e le dups degli utenti male abituati che si leveranno l'alba di quel giorno  )
