|
|
Hey there,
I'm not sure if it belongs here or in the desktop environment forum, but here's what I'm trying to figure out :
I have this little box with a Shuttle FV25 mobo, which has a Savage4 Twister card onboard. I got X working alright, with the savage driver.
Now, I'm very keen on buying a Samsung 172W TFT screen, which is of widescreen ratio, with a resolution of 1280x768
what I'm trying to find out is if this card can support such resolution.
I already tried to look in the INF file of the windows98 drivers, but it only lists up 4:3 aspect res.
If anyone can help me find this out, that'd be really cool.

Stick a modeline in for that reso in your XF86Config, set it to default, and test it? |

Yeah, tks I thought about it, but .... with what monitor ??
In the meantime i have this lousy 15" CRT, and it really doesn't like anything that is not 4:3
I might have to go with the 4:3 version of the screen
but, cheers for replying.
anyone else has an idea ? |
